Free AI check for independent agencies
Ask ChatGPT for an insurance agent in your town. Does it name you?
Tell us your agency and your town. We ask ChatGPT and Perplexity the questions your buyers ask, 36 times in all, and send you how often you’re named, who’s named instead, where the AI got its facts, and 3 fixes. Free. Usually within 1 business day.
No call. No credit card. Just your agency, your town, and an email.

In BrightLocal’s 2026 survey of 1,002 US adults, 45% had used ChatGPT or other AI tools for local business recommendations, up from 6% a year earlier.1
How it works
Three steps. You do the first one.
- 01
Tell us about your agency
Agency name and town. About a minute.
- 02
We ask the AI
We ask ChatGPT and Perplexity 6 questions real buyers ask, like “best independent insurance agent in your town for home and auto,” 3 times each, through their official business tools. We also check whether your website lets AI tools in.
- 03
You get your report
Usually within 1 business day: your Shortlist Score, who’s named instead, the sources the AI used (with links), and 3 fixes.
Your report
What’s in your report.
Your Shortlist Score
How many AI answers named your agency, e.g., “named in 9 of 36 answers (25%).” Sites we build are measured the same way on 120 answers, on launch day and at day 90, so you can compare.
Who’s named instead
The agencies and companies the AI named for your town, listed by name only.
Where the AI got its facts
Every source the AI cited, as a link you can click: Yelp, a “best of” list, a carrier’s agent finder. That’s where the work is.
Are your facts right?
Whether the AI had your phone number, address, and lines right when it named you.
Can AI read your site?
Whether your site lets AI tools in, has the labels Google asks for, and shows its words without special code.
3 fixes, in plain English
The three changes most likely to help, in order, each marked “Do it yourself” or “For your web person.”

What this check is, and what it isn’t.
- AI answers change. They vary by person, place, and day. This check is a snapshot of what the AI said when we asked. It isn’t a ranking or a guarantee.
- We use the business versions, not the apps. We ask through OpenAI’s API with web search (similar to, but not the same as, ChatGPT search) and Perplexity’s API. We don’t copy pages from ChatGPT, Perplexity, or Google.
- Google’s AI isn’t in the free check. There’s no approved way to check it automatically. When we build your site, a person on our team checks Google’s AI answers by hand for your launch-day and day-90 reports.
- Other agencies’ names are just what the AI gave. We list names only, as written, and don’t repeat what the AI said about anyone. We don’t publish your results.
- Nobody can guarantee you’ll be named. Not us, not anyone. We can show you what AI sees and what to fix.
